It’s November already! Can you believe it? I just got back from a work trip to a Chicago suburb, and it was down right winter there. There was even a day where it snowed most of the day. Absolutely crazy! It’s only fall, isn’t it? I did get to make a snowman though. That was fun.
Anyway, I’m really looking forward to things settling down for a bit for the next couple of months. I know there will be lots going on with all of the holidays, but for the most part, I think things should be fairly calm. I also hope to get more reading in. I just got my order from Book Outlet in the mail, which had quite a few books I’ve been excited to read. Hopefully, I can get around to reading them soon.
Most Anticipated November Releases
I feel like a lot of people have been anticipating releases coming out this month. There’s a lot of great books coming out soon! Here are a few of my top anticipated reads:
1. Sick Kids in Love by Hannah Moskowitz (11/5) – I’ve been hearing about and seeing this book a lot on social media lately. It sounds like a great standalone with the potential of being absolutely heart-wrenching.
2. Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater (11/5) – Call Down the Hawk is the new companion series of The Raven Cycle featuring Ronan Lynch. I think all fans of The Raven Cycle are excited for this series. I know Stiefvater’s writing style isn’t for everyone. Personally, I loved some of her books and didn’t mesh well with others. I’m very hopeful that I’ll enjoy Call Down the Hawk though. Especially since I binge read The Raven Cycle. It was that good. (You can check out my review of The Raven Cycle series here.)
3. Find Me Their Bones by Sara Wolf (11/5) – Find Me Their Bones is the sequel to Bring Me Their Hearts, which I loved. (You can check out my review of Bring Me Their Hearts here.) I wasn’t lucky enough to snag an ARC copy of Find Me Their Bones, but I’ll definitely be purchasing a copy when I get the chance. I need to know what happens after the cliffhanger in Bring me Their Hearts.
Are you looking forward to the holidays? What are your most anticipated book releases in November? I’d love to know. Let’s chat!
