2020 has been a very tough year. & I don’t know about anyone else, but I feel like the first week of November was particularly difficult. The US Election was my tipping point, and I was officially maxed out on political news, COVID-19 news, economic news, etc. I was simply exhausted and over it all. Everyone definitely deserves some mental health days…
So thank goodness for the holidays!!! I know COVID-19 means that the holiday season will look very different. Honestly, it’s weird not knowing when I’ll see my friends. However, I’m excited to check out from the world for a day, stuff myself with desserts, and just be with my immediate family. Bring on the pumpkin pie! 🙂
With that being said, I honestly haven’t read much lately. I mostly have been spending my time watching YouTube videos, but I am looking to get into the holiday spirit. So if any of you have some Christmast themed romances to recommend, be sure to leave them in the comments!
Most Anticipated November Releases
Despite not reading a whole lot lately, there are a few books I’m looking forward to this month. Honestly, it’s a good month for new releases, I think.
2. Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett (11/10) – Chasing Lucky was originally supposed to release earlier this year but was sadly delayed. Jenn Bennett is amazing at telling romantic YA stories with quirky characters. I’m looking forward to reading this one as well.
4. Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline (11/24) – I really enjoyed Ready Player One, and it was a easy book to hand sell as a bookseller. So I have high hopes for Ready Player Two that it’ll be a great sequel, but if I’m being honest, I don’t expect it to be as good as the first book. I just don’t know how he’s going to top that story. We’ll just have to wait and see.
What are your most anticipated book releases this month? Feel free to share your picks with me in the comments or on my socials!
