Lilly Walsh is used to keeping things buttoned-up and aboveboard. After all, the last time she hooked up with someone in a wedding party, it nearly cost her her wedding planning business. Thankfully, those rules don’t apply when she meets a handsome stranger in a hotel bar. One bad pirate joke leads to the best night of her life, but come morning, she’s got a wedding to plan.

Lincoln Reid never imagined he’d see the woman who rocked his world last night and then ran out on him ever again. But there she is, planning his best friend’s wedding with the same passion and drive that brought him to his knees. She’s adamant that wedding planner and best man can never mix, but that just means he’s got four weeks to make her see him as more than just a one-night guy. Because he’s itching for more than one night...or five, or ten…

Note: I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions shared are my own.

The Best Man Problem by Mariah Ankenman had a solid plot and two characters that haven’t had the best luck at love.

Lilly has a rule not to date anyone in the wedding party and is surprised to find that her one night stand Lincoln is the best man in an upcoming wedding she’s hosting. There’s a lot of resistance by Lilly, but Lincoln figures his role as best man is only temporary. He just has to wait it out.

Overall the story had a good plot and two characters that have chemistry even though they don’t have much in common. Unfortunately, The Best Man Problem didn’t wow me in any way. I don’t have any strong feelings towards it that are good or bad. It was simply a solid story. So I’d recommend checking it out for yourself if the synopsis interests you.

I will say, however, Lilly’s strong dislike of flavored lattes wounded my heart a bit. I love mochas! Lol.
