It’s October already, and supposedly fall is in full swing. Not that it feels anything like fall here in Hawaii. It’s still quite hot outside. I can’t believe we’re coming near the end of the year already!
Life has been pretty quiet lately since coming back from my vacation at the end of September. It has been hard finding books to read that I am actually in the mood to read. Right now, however, I’m reading Uprooted by Naomi Novik since it was finally available through my library’s Overdrive. I’m enjoying it so far, but it hasn’t quite sucked me in.
Most Anticipated Book Releases
Moving on to books that I’m excited for that are releasing this month…
1. 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston (10/1) – I already read and reviewed 10 Blind Dates. I absolutely loved it. If you’re looking for a light-hearted contemporary focused on family and friends with some romance, I highly recommend 10 Blind Dates. I can’t wait to purchase a physical copy for myself.
2. Supernova by Kass Morgan (10/1) – Supernova is the sequel to Light Years, which I greatly enjoyed. (I reviewed Light Years earlier this year.) I can’t wait to see what happens after that cliffhanger!
3. The Library of Lost Things by Laura Taylor Namey (10/8) – I’ve heard so many good things about The Library of Lost Things on social media, and I can’t wait to read it! Plus, I love a book that features a bookstore.
