It’s December, Guys!

To be honest, I’m surprised by how fast this year went by. I absolutely can’t believe it’s December already. On one hand, I’m excited to start fresh with a new year, but on the other hand, I don’t feel like I accomplished all that much this year. I am excited to set some new goals for 2019. So maybe a fresh start is truly what I need.

As far as life goes, I expect December to be a busier month at work. I do hope to catch up on my reading to hit my Goodreads goal. A bunch of TV shows are ending their fall season. I think I can do it! I’ve also been a bit more active on Twitter lately. So if you’re on Twitter, let’s be friends! Haha!

For new December book releases, I feel like it’s a fairly quiet month for me. There are a lot of sequels for series I have yet to explore coming out, but there’s a couple of books I’m thinking of checking out.

The first book I’m interested in is The Disasters by M. K. England. I feel like I’ve been liking a lot of Sci-Fi lately, and seeing The Disasters all over social media made me want to check it out. Based upon the synopsis, it sounds like it’ll be a fun, action-packed book. I’ll definitely have to check this out at the library.

The second book I’m interested in is My Almost Flawless Tokyo Dream Life by Rachel Cohn. I mainly want to read this because it’s set in Tokyo and because it’s a YA contemporary. It’s been a while since I’ve read YA contemporary. I think I need more of it back in my life.

This month what I’m really excited for is Mary Poppins Returns. I loved Mary Poppins as a child, and I’m excited to see what Disney did to create a sequel.

I’d love to hear what you’re all reading or what books/movies you’re excited for. & I hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season! Happy Holidays! 😀
