Hello October.

We have finally made it to the last quarter of 2020. I’m excited for some cooler temperatures and the holidays. I know this year the holidays will be different with COVID-19 still wreaking havoc on the world, but I’m hopeful that there will still be fun times to be had. Plus, I do enjoy the pie.

To be honest, there aren’t many book releases this month that particularly excite me. I’ve been feeling pretty bland on my reading. So instead I thought I’d share with you my Halloween movie picks for this month.

Halloween Movies I Plan to Watch This Month

To be honest, I’m not a big Halloween fan. Aside from eating candy, it never really appealed to me. Also, the only pumpkin things I’m into are pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake, which I’ll eat throughout the holiday season. Despite my lack of overflowing love for Halloween, I do enjoy a lot of the Disney Halloween movie favorites, and with Disney+, I can enjoy them at my leisure. (What I’m not into are the horror films. I’m just not a horror film kind of person, but it seems like October is almost always filled with horror film releases.)

1. First up on the list is Halloweentown. A classic Disney Channel Original Movie. Something I absolutley loved watching year after year on TV. I’m not a huge fan of the sequels, but the first movie is definitely a great one.

2. Hocus Pocus is arguably a cult favorite. I think when people think of Halloween movies, many include Hocus Pocus on their lists. It’s such a fun movie, and “I Put A Spell On You” is a jam!

3. Lastly is Twitches, another great Disney Channel Original Movie. I absolutely loved Tia and Tamara Mowry growing up and enjoyed pretty much everything they starred in.

Are you a fan of Halloween? What are your go to Halloween movies?
