Exciting July Releases

I honestly can’t believe half the year went by already! We’re 6-months into 2017, and I feel like I haven’t  been reading much at all. It’s such a tragedy!!! Regardless of my lack of ability to focus on reading, my TBR continues to grow. Here are some of the books releasing this July that I’m excited for. (Also I’ve been in a HUGE fluffy, contemporary mood. So… Many of my books on this list probably fit that category. Haha!)

1. What to Say Next by Julie Buxbaum (7/11) – To be honest, I’m mostly interested in reading this book because I enjoyed Julie Buxbaum’s previous novel. Plus there’s been good reviews. So I have high hopes.

2. I See London, I See France by Sarah Mlynowski (7/11) – This is on my list because I’m hoping it turns out to be an absolutely hilarious, fluffy read. I mean what could go wrong when you have two teenaged best friends traveling through Europe along with her best friend’s ex and his best friend?

3. Amid Stars and Darkness by Chani Lynn Feener (7/18) – I think this is the only sci-fi book on my list… It’s a mistaken identity sort of book. So it could potentially be a bit cliched. But how many books are there where the main character is mistaken for an alien princess? I’m interested in seeing where Feener takes this.

4. Changes in Latitudes by Jen Malone (7/25) – This is another book I want to read simply because I loved the author’s previous book. I’m not sure if I’ll be hugely into the whole parents divorcing plot, especially since I’ve been trying to avoid reading books with “tough issues” this summer… Regardless, I think it sounds like a good read.

5. Lucky In Love by Kasie West (7/25) – Lucky in Love is the last book on my list and yet another book I want to read mainly because of the author. HAHA! However, I don’t think I’ve read a story yet that is centered around the main character winning the lottery. It’s something I totally wish would happen to me by the way, but Hawaii doesn’t have a lottery. So the chances of that are very, very slim…

What books are you looking forward to this July? Is there anything else I should add to my ever growing TBR? Let me know! 🙂
